Production Planner - Lego
Department: Procurement

Description
We’re looking for a Production Planner to own end-to-end production follow-up, ensuring products are manufactured, tested, inspected, and delivered in line with approved specifications, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
You’ll act as the first operational control layer between suppliers, internal stakeholders, and quality/compliance functions—keeping production on track, proactively surfacing risks, and ensuring documentation and traceability are maintained throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all critical documentation (e.g., ASI, BOM, approved samples, QAP) is complete and aligned before production begins.
- Follow up with suppliers on sample, tooling, and mass production timelines.
- Monitor production progress and identify risks related to capacity, quality, and delays.
- Coordinate QA/QC inspections and laboratory testing (pre-production and mass production).
- Ensure inspection outcomes reflect the final mass-produced items.
- Request and archive photo evidence of final goods and palletized products prior to shipment.
- Coordinate logistics and verify shipping documentation for accuracy.
- Communicate production updates, changes, and risks to Client Ops, Quality, and Procurement.
- Maintain full traceability of approvals, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Prepare and deliver structured weekly status reports.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong organization and follow-up capability with a structured way of working.
- High attention to detail and commitment to documentation and traceability.
- Proactive, risk-oriented mindset with confident escalation when needed.
- Clear, professional communication skills across internal teams and suppliers.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Experience in production follow-up, supply chain, or quality-related roles.
- Basic understanding of QA/QC and compliance processes.
- Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.
- Commitment to health & safety: following procedures and reporting unsafe situations immediately.
