We are currently collaborating with a leading industrial environmental technology and air pollution control company based in Madrid, which is looking to add a Sales Manager – Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) to its team.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager – Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) to lead business development and market expansion activities across assigned regions and industries.

The successful candidate will play a strategic role in growing Airnord’s installed base, developing aftermarket opportunities, and increasing market share for ESP solutions in both traditional and emerging industrial sectors. This position requires a strong combination of technical understanding, consultative sales capability, and international customer engagement.

You will work closely with engineering, proposal, project management, and service teams to deliver high-value technical solutions tailored to customer needs throughout the entire sales and project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies for Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) systems and aftermarket services

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in industries such as cement, power generation, metals, mining, pulp & paper, and industrial process plants

  • Build long-term relationships with EPC contractors, plant operators, consultants, and key decision-makers

  • Drive growth of both capital equipment sales and aftermarket/service business

  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements

  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and order finalization

  • Coordinate internally with engineering, project execution, procurement, and service departments to ensure successful project delivery

  • Act as the primary commercial contact throughout the sales and project execution phases

  • Support market intelligence activities, including competitor analysis, industry trends, and customer needs

  • Represent Airnord APC at customer meetings, technical presentations, site visits, conferences, and industry exhibitions

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting within CRM systems

  • Contribute to the continuous development of Airnord’s market presence and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Process, Environmental, or similar)

  • Proven experience in B2B technical sales within industrial equipment, environmental technologies, or Air Pollution Control systems

  • Eperience with Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP), filtration systems, gas cleaning technologies, or related process equipment is highly preferred

  • Strong technical understanding combined with excellent commercial acumen

  • Demonstrated success in developing international markets and managing complex sales cycles

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset

  • Fluent in English; additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, or Portuguese are considered an advantage

  • Willingness to travel internationally based on business needs
