Job Description
- Leading the financial controlling processes for two companies located in Ankara and İstanbul, ensuring consistent quality and alignment of reporting.
- Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and KPI reports for both solo and consolidated results.
- Performing detailed variance analyses (actual vs. budget vs. forecast) and providing clear, actionable insights.
- Providing guidance, on-the-job coaching, and knowledge sharing to junior team members within the controlling team.
- Supporting the Financial Controlling Manager in workload distribution, process ownership, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serving as the primary contact for external and internal audit processes for both companies.
- Challenging and supporting cross-functional departments in setting realistic, data-driven assumptions.
- Leading the preparation of financial plans, annual budgets, forecasts, and mid-term plans.
- Ensuring alignment with Group Accounting policies and local statutory requirements.
- Producing ad hoc analyses, reports, and presentations as requested by top management.
- Collaborating with other functions to gather financial data, analyze results, and enhance reporting quality.
- Travelling regularly between İstanbul (HQ) and Ankara to support local teams, audits, and closing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; an MBA is a strong plus for candidates aiming at future leadership roles.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in financial controlling or financial audit.
- Experience in one of the Big Four audit firms is an asset.
- Experience in a multinational company is highly preferred.
- Consolidation experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Excellent command of English and Turkish.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proactive mindset, strong problem‑solving skills, and a high sense of ownership.
- Proficiency in SAP FI is a significant advantage.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel between İstanbul and Ankara.
