Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sewerage Engineer to join the PgMC Amaravati Project. The candidate will be responsible for the planning, design, review, and implementation of sewerage and wastewater management systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements, engineering standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design of sewerage networks, pumping stations, and wastewater management infrastructure.

• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design reports related to sewerage systems.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project execution and integration of sewerage infrastructure.

• Monitor construction activities and provide technical guidance to contractors and site teams.

• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements.

• Conduct hydraulic assessments and evaluate the performance of sewerage systems.

• Support project planning, budgeting, and progress monitoring activities.

• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and stakeholders.

• Identify project risks and recommend suitable engineering solutions.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Public Health Engineering, or a related field will be preferred.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in the design, execution, or supervision of sewerage and wastewater infrastructure projects.

• Experience in urban infrastructure, municipal projects, or large-scale public sector developments is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of sewerage network design, wastewater collection systems, pumping stations, and relevant engineering standards.

• Proficiency in engineering software and technical documentation.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and manage project deliverables.

Candidates with experience in major government or smart city infrastructure projects will be given preference.
