Sofidel Tissue of Las Vegas (89030) is currently seeking a Lube Technician. We are searching for a candidate that is local to the area and is looking for a long-term role in a stable environment. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team!

Responsibilities:
- Maintain the lubrication equipment, database, and reports
- Responsible for reporting equipment and sample status to the reliability, operations, and maintenance teams
- Support department outages and drumbeats
- Develop and maintain lubrication route documentation. Collect and submit associated samples using established programs or alternate analysis options as needed
- Keep lube sample reports updated and current with all known liabilities. Recommend and support completion of action items initiated from sample results and known issues
- Continue development of lubrication routes and equipment, including identifying and writing content for lube procedures as gaps are identified
- Initiate lube program improvement projects
- Maintain collection, lubrication, filtration, and storage equipment and areas including lube cart operation and supplies
- Determine equipment lube related faults and fault severity. Make recommendations for repair priorities. Verify repairs. Collect and maintain baseline lubrication data
- Support development of Lube Expert equipment application and routes
- Hold self and others to high level of safety standards, ensuring workplace safety policies are upheld and safety rules are followed (lockout/tagout procedures, appropriate PPE)
- Participate as needed in safety incidents and help investigate root cause
- Conduct mandatory weekly Leadership Safety Observations
- Assist the leadership teams in investigating failures (Break Down Analysis) as requested to help eliminate and resolve equipment fault issues, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic processes and equipment
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated electrical experience or 2 years of related education in lieu of experience required
- Demonstrated experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), pneumatics, or hydraulic systems required
- Experience in working with computerized maintenance system preferred
- Internal candidates must have completed a min. of level 5 qualification
