What You'll Do

  • Promptly and accurately research, review, and process payments from various sources along with loss and loss recoveries.
  • Research and resolve unidentified transactions in the cash suspense ledger and assist in reconciliation process of suspense items
  • Coordinate the daily department balancing spreadsheet. and review transactions identified in the payment exception reports.
  • Assist in researching and resolving items in general ledger accounts, including processing necessary entries to clear outstanding amounts
  • Process complex payment/account transactions, adjustments, and reconciling items. 
  • Manage department email box and distribute items to team members for processing and handle complex requests.
  • Promptly and accurately process requests and/or respond to inquiries from internal and external customers. Take corrective action as necessary to resolve issues.
  • Prepare and/or maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation within area of responsibility. Help coordinate and assist with department meetings along with training and development of team members.

Qualifications

  • Excels at proofreading, spotting inconsistencies and proactively resolving discrepancies
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely via email while documenting requests
  • Comfortable navigating, entering data, creating basic charts and using formulas in excel
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Prior experience in the financial industry preferred, experience with wires is a plus

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $20.20-$26.45, along with eligibility to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
