About the Role
As a Residential (IRA) Assistant Supervisor, you’ll play a key leadership role within the home, supporting both the individuals we serve and the direct care staff who help them thrive. You’ll work closely with the Program Supervisor to ensure each person receives compassionate, person‑centered care aligned with their individualized plans. You will guide and mentor staff, support daily operations, and serve as a leader when the supervisor is away.
What You’ll Do
As a Residential (IRA) Assistant Supervisor, you will:
Ensure each resident receives high‑quality, person‑centered care aligned with their IPOP and goals
Provide hands‑on assistance with daily living needs such as hygiene, meals, mobility, and household tasks
Promote learning, independence, and peer relationships
Use conflict‑resolution and SCIP‑R techniques when needed
Maintain accurate documentation and report progress or behavioral changes
Assist with staff supervision, scheduling, and problem‑solving
Share on‑call responsibilities to support staffing and crisis needs
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with 1+ year of related experienceOR High school diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience
A valid driver’s license and willingness to transport individuals
A commitment to compassion, professionalism, and team success
