Coordinate, organize, follow up and supervise the implementation of projects focused on environmental sustainability and climate action.
Lead, Supervise and ensure proper implementation, in coordination with all partners and stakeholders, of activities designed under the project. Lead and coordinate the relationship with the partner as per the design of the project. Adhere to donor’s requirements (financial and operational) throughout the implementation period Coordinate with zonal offices across the West Bank- Zonal Staff and Zonal managers, regarding the implementation of the activities. Conduct meetings with stakeholders, partners, staff, and beneficiaries at field level to ensure proper implementation of activities Draw lesson learned from field and adjust to the implementation plan when needed and appropriate, while adhering to the overall design of the project. Coordinate and prepare for the monthly meetings with WV Germany Supervise the assigned project staff (coordinator and/or officers) as part of the structure of the project, while providing technical and logistical support

MEAL, Communications & Visibility
Work with the M&E staff to supervise the use of monitoring tools, including tracking process indicators and reviewing monitoring data. Address issues and adapt program when necessary Write project progress reports and prepare annual plans and budgets for the project in coordination with Maan Development Center Prepare all communication materials related to the project in adherence to World Vision and Donor’s regulations

Environmental Sustainability & Climate Action Technical Guidance
Provide technical guidance to WV’s organizational approach to improving environmental sustainability and contribution to climate action. Represent WV JWB in global, regional and national ESCA-related external engagement, advocacy and communications initiatives. Coordinate WV JWB’s Green Committee

Coordination and Networking
Ensure proper coordination and networking with the project partners and stakeholders Ensure proper technical coordination with World Vision JWG assigned staff throughout the implementation period Ensure better coordination with zonal offices across the West Bank for the sake of activities implementation Ensure proper coordination with GAM Manager, especially in terms of Support Office (SO) and donor relations and compliance with donor requirements.
Knowledge/Qualifications for this Role
At least 5 years of progressive work experience in managing grants (experience managing EU country funding, such as BMZ and AECID strongly preferred).
Experience in project management cycle, planning and implementation using project management tools
Experienced in developing M&E tools, quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Experience in managing project related to climate change, climate adaptation, climate-smart agriculture, environmental sustainability and/or technical background in environmental science, climate change adaptation and mitigation or similar.
Experience designing and/or managing initiatives intended to engage young children, adolescents and youth in green initiatives that promote environmental sustainability and positive climate action, increasing knowledge and promoting ownership, strongly preferred.
NOTE: Must have a valid driving license for the West Bank and be willing to drive to project locations, meetings, etc.
