Role Summary
Senior product manager role leading a suite of investment advice and managed account, as well as retirement income products through the entire life cycle from inception to ongoing management and measurement. The product manager will manage vendors for the delivery of services, as well as internal technology, marketing, sales, client services, and operations teams regarding the definition of capabilities, documentation of requirements, managing execution, ensure business readiness for rollout, and managing ongoing product needs.
Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
- Work closely with execution product owner and technology team to define priorities
- Drive product launches including working with marketing, sales, operation, call centers, client relationship managers and service managers, legal and compliance teams, and other areas as needed
- Develop go to market strategies and ongoing success measurements
- Act as a product advocate to build awareness and understanding
- Present to clients regarding the benefits and features, as well as solicit feedback regarding the products and services
Qualifications
Required:
- Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Proven ability to work with other business partners to develop a marketing and rollout plan
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in the institutional retirement business
- BS degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred:
- Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Experience in software development and web technologies projects
- Experience with managed account and retirement income products and services

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
Base Salary Ranges

$122,000.00 - $209,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers$135,000.00 - $230,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$153,000.00 - $261,000.00 for the location of: New York, California
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
