Cost Budgeting: Based on engineering drawings, market prices, and standard quotas, prepare the project cost budget and cost control plan, define cost targets for each sub-item of work, and establish a baseline for cost management.
Quotation Review and Analysis: Review engineering tender documents, bid quotations, and contract terms. Analyze the bill of quantities and comprehensive unit prices for reasonableness, identify quotation risks, and ensure procurement costs remain under control.
Construction Cost Monitoring: Track material procurement, progress payments, and design changes during the construction process. Compare actual costs with the budget, issue early warnings for cost overruns, and propose corrective actions.
Engineering Change Management: Assess the impact of engineering changes on costs, review change-related expenses, participate in the evaluation of change proposals, control cost increases caused by changes, and maintain the stability of the cost plan.
Final Settlement Review: Verify as-built drawings, site instruction records, and acceptance documents. Review the final settlement amount, confirm quantities and unit prices, ensure the accuracy and authenticity of settlement data, and complete the cost accounting cycle.
Cost Analysis and Optimization: Regularly analyze the composition and influencing factors of project costs, summarize cost management experiences, and propose optimization suggestions (e.g., process improvement, material substitution) to reduce overall project costs.
