Job Summary:
Meneses Law is an Immigration Law Firm seeking a Operations Manager to join our growing team in our Houston Office. The individual will be responsible for analyzing and coordinating the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of the company offered services. This includes conducting organizational studies and evaluations, designing systems and procedures, conducting work simplification and measurement studies, and preparing operations and procedures manuals to assist staff in operating more efficiently and effectively. May perform other duties as necessary.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate robust and proven business acumen.
- Improves existing processes and procedures and provides ideas for new processes and procedures.
- Assist with projects, as needed from departments and leadership.
- Ability to accurately document processes, while showing how they connect so that team members can understand and apply them and be held accountable to fulfilling them.
- Handle internal requests for assistance using Microsoft and our systems.
- Demonstrate an aptitude for efficient problem solving.
- Document processes in any department.
- Ability to understand how teams within the Company are connected to see how changes within one department can impact another.
- Actively search for opportunities to streamline/clean-up process (e.g. project management).
- Generate reports and reporting dashboards, in line with direction from various leadership team members based on their departmental needs.
- Strategize process automation by working with external departments.
- Communicate with key executives to determine project requirements and objectives.
- Must be able to deal with different personalities, cooperate with other team members, and work under pressure.
- Perform any other tasks or functions deemed necessary to the daily operations of the employer.
Required Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of MS office and MacOS.
- Proficiency in using computers, printers, copy machines, fax machines, and other office equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and good judgement.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, MacOS, and other relevant data tools.
- Excellent time management skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to type 45 WPM or more.
- English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Proper phone etiquette
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree focused on business administration/management or related field.
- Preferred but not required, 6 months or more of related experience working in a firm, customer service, and/or sales.

Physical Demands:
- This position involves regular walking, standing sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking.
- Occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching
- May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time.
- Involves manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
- The ability to move and lift items up to10 pounds.
