Global Director Talent Acquisition
Job Description
Job Context
The Director of Talent Acquisition owns Simpro Group's global recruiting engine. This role is the operational and strategic center of our talent function — leading a global team of recruiters, direct recruitment on leadership and critical roles, managing vendor relationships, running talent programs including internships, driving process and workflow improvements, and producing the reporting and analytics that keep the business informed on hiring. This is not a culture or programs generalist role. We need a scrappy, roll-up-your-sleeves leader who thrives on execution, speed, and building things that scale. You will possess the bigger-picture thinking required to ensure that talent acquisition isn't a silo, but the starting point of an exceptional employee journey. You will partner directly with the CHRO and hiring leaders across the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Colombia and New Zealand to ensure we hit our hiring targets for the roles that directly enable our growth.
What You’ll Do
Global Recruiting Operations
Lead and manage a global team of recruiters across all regions, holding the team to speed, quality, and conversion standards.
Own full-cycle recruiting operations: sourcing, pipelines, interview coordination, offer management, and time-to-fill metrics.
Focus on bigger-picture alignment, ensuring a seamless candidate handover process as talent transitions from candidate to employee.
Partner closely with the HR Leadership team to align talent acquisition strategy with the broader goals of the global HR function.
Build and continuously optimize recruiting workflows and tooling in Workday and supporting platforms to eliminate friction and improve throughput.
Drive recruiter accountability through weekly pipeline reporting and clear hiring metrics tied to business outcomes.
Talent Programs
Own and operate the company’s internship program globally — from structure and sourcing to conversion and onboarding.
Partner with business leaders to design and run targeted talent programs that support critical hiring events and priorities.
Vendor & Agency Management
Manage all external recruiting vendor and agency relationships — holding partners accountable to SLAs, delivery, and cost-per-hire.
Renegotiate or exit underperforming agency agreements; identify and onboard new specialist partners where needed.
Manage the vendor budget and spend reporting for talent acquisition.
Process Improvement & Reporting
Maximize our existing tech stack. Don’t reinvent the wheel—leverage our ATS/HRIS to extract clean data, automate workflows, and eliminate friction.
Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in hiring workflows — from requisition creation through offer acceptance.
Build a reporting cadence that gives CHRO and ELT real-time visibility into global hiring health: open requisitions, pipeline by stage, offer acceptance rates, time-to-fill, and recruiter productivity.
Leverage data to make fast, defensible decisions on sourcing channels, agency usage, and team structure.
Implement AI to improve productivity and outcomes.
This job description is not an exhaustive list of duties and may be modified at the discretion of Simpro Group.
What You’ll Bring
10+ years of talent acquisition experience, with 3–5 years leading and managing a recruiting team.
Proven track record in a startup, high-growth, or rapidly scaling environment where pace and resourcefulness are required.
Experience managing global recruiting operations across multiple regions and time zones.
Strong command of Workday Recruiting or comparable ATS — you optimize systems, not just use them.
Hands-on experience managing external agency and vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance management.
Data-driven: you build dashboards, track metrics, and use numbers to drive decisions and communicate leadership.
Experience designing or running internship programs and other structured talent pipeline programs.
Direct, low-ego communication style — comfortable pushing back on hiring managers and holding the team to standards.
Prior experience in SaaS, tech, or field service software is a strong plus.
