Job Overview
The Test Technician supports assembly, manufacturing, and testing activities to ensure products and components meet defined quality and performance standards. The role involves hands‑on technical work, use of tools and machinery, and close collaboration with production and engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, testing, and basic manufacturing tasks in accordance with work instructions and production schedules.
- Set up, operate, and support testing equipment, tools, instruments, and machinery.
- Follow written and verbal instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines accurately.
- Record test and production results clearly and report any issues or deviations.
- Support troubleshooting and rework activities as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding work progress and issues.
- Support shift work requirements based on workload and operational needs.
Skills
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform hands‑on technical and assembly work.
- Experience working with tools, instruments, and manufacturing machinery.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Willingness to work shifts when required.
Qualifications
High school with strong English communication
- Ability to work in a hands‑on, shop‑floor or manufacturing environment.
