Rehabilitation Aide - Physical Therapy

The Rehab Technician (Tech) supports the mission, vision, values and objectives of Providence Little Company of Mary. The Rehabilitation Tech functions under the direct supervision of the licensed therapists.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing and cleaning treatment areas, transporting and positioning patients, procurement of inventory/supplies and assists therapists, and assistants in the completion of the patient treatment plan. The Rehab Tech may also be assigned routine clerical support tasks to support the patient care process.  These functions are carried out according to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The Rehab Tech demonstrates professional communication and interpersonal skills including direct, honest and compassionate behavior.
