Summary
Malware Analyst/Detection Engineer possesses strong theoretical and practical knowledge in malicious code analysis, with a focus on, but not limited to, mobile platform executables and files for Apple iOS and Android.Job description
The primary responsibilities include reverse engineering; however, the employee may also engage in broader research activities that require an understanding of mobile operating systems and their internal workings to accurately interpret program functionality.
Based on the analysis results, malware analyst/detection engineer is expected to develop and implement signatures to support ongoing threat detection and monitoring efforts.
Malware Analyst/Detection Engineer is also expected to propose product and internal systems improvements, leading to enhanced customer protection.
Job description and responsibilities
Perform reverse engineering of the file types supported by mobile platforms Apple iOS and Android.
Analyze executables and other file types, and provide detailed information on program analysis, program code, comprehensive information on the activities of the program and the conditions required for conducting certain actions in the program.
Assist in the development of simple automated systems to improve the analysis and classification process with focus on mobile online threats.
Design and implement threat classification, signature authoring.
Actively monitor the life cycle of various families of infiltrations.
