Job Description

What you’ll be doing What will your essential responsibilities include

Preparation and posting of relevant Journals associated with FX, Treaty, Losses etc

Finalize QMA forms like QMA 350, QMA 710, QMA 800 and QMA 120u

Preparation of Flash report (which includes reporting of our KPIs and forecasted numbers and their comparison)

Performing FIC controls which includes Intercompany Analysis, Aging of Premium receivables etc

Preparation of Annual Financials statements, Half yearly OAR pack for EY, quarterly MD&A pack for corporate reporting and Board deck for presentation by regional CFO

Participate in projects as required to ensure that financial data are handled in full accordance with statutory requirements

Support and contribute to AI and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and innovation

You will report to Senior Manager, Chief Accounting and Capital Office

What you’ll bring We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Certifications: Chartered accountant with relevant years of working experience

Analytical skills: Robust ability to analyze complex financial data

Communication & Presentation: Excellent ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders

Team Handling: Not needed

Desired Skills and Abilities: Problem Solving: Ability to identify financial issues and develop effective solutions

Technological Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting and financial software/tools

Knowledge of accounting: Detailed and sound understanding of accounting and financial standards and principles
