Job Description

West Hartford Public Schools seeks to fill the position of a School Counselor (0.5 FTE) at Sedgwick Middle School. 


Responsibilities include:

 

* Provide academic, career, and social-emotional counseling services to students.
* Deliver classroom guidance lessons and facilitate small-group interventions.
* Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to support student success.
* Respond to student crises and coordinate appropriate interventions and referrals.
* Use data to identify student needs and evaluate counseling program effectiveness.
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment.

 

Valid CT Certification (068) is required.

Please include a current resume, transcripts, copy of current certification (068) and 3 letters of recommendation dated within the last 365 days.
