Job Description
Position Overview:
The Estimator provides accurate and knowledgeable information to customers through bidding on various projects utilizing multiple platforms and avenues. This individual will assess and communicate the customer’s needs and determine the appropriate services through clear communication, timely quotes, and in-person interactions.
Position Duties:
Maintain current customer relations and grow new customer list.
Make & receive calls, emails, and text messages to customers about all projects and scheduling.
Provide accurate quotes and pricing based on TES cost structure.
Work with the Dispatch team to get work scheduled and maintained.
Create jobs & tickets.
Researching, maintaining, and coordinating vendors to supply project/site materials.
Follow up with customer's job and invoicing.
Networking events, Client Meetings (may require off hours)
Answer phone calls, emails, outside of normal business hours
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Traffic Control (preferred), or the ability to learn various regional standards regarding traffic control
Strong computer skills
Sales experience
Mathematical skills and understanding cost structure.
Managing and organizational skills
High School Diploma
Physical Requirements:

The Estimator must be able to both stand and sit for long periods of time to manage the duties and tasks required. The individual must be capable of travelling to jobsites for inspection and compliance. The position requires the individual to sit to complete the administrative tasks.
Furthermore, this position requires the individual to be able to bend or kneel occasionally. This individual must be able to lift and/or carry at least 40 pounds unassisted. Lastly this position requires fine motor skills to operate keyboards, computers, and phones as well as file documents.
The Estimator must have good hearing, sight, and voice. Or they must employ corrective/supportive devices where necessary.
