Job Description
ASRC Federal is looking for an experienced Project Administrator – Intermediate to support their work with the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The Project Administrator will work as part of the IT Business Management team to align IT budgetary planning with the CIO’s strategic initiatives.
This role involves developing detailed budget plans, maintaining budget forecasting repositories, creating IT-related reports, and supporting coordination between mission partners and ACC leadership. The candidate will also help facilitate agreement development and service delivery tracking, while continuously reviewing and improving the budgetary process as technology and strategic priorities evolve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and present IT budgetary plans that align with the CIO’s strategic objectives
Collaborate with Division Chiefs and CIO leadership to finalize planning decisions
Create and manage a forecasting repository using approved government toolsets to track annual IT budget needs
Generate standard and ad-hoc reports on IT expenditures and budgetary progress
Facilitate meetings with mission partners to develop IT service agreements
Draft IT agreements, track implementation, and support delivery oversight upon Government Lead approval
Conduct continuous improvement reviews of the IT budgetary process to reflect changes in technology and strategy
Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and documentation to support leadership briefings
Maintain version control and documentation for all budgetary plans and agreements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project administration, business operations, or IT financial planning. Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with leadership and mission partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience preparing financial or strategic reports for executive audiences
Ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting Army or DoD IT or business planning initiatives
Familiarity with federal budgeting practices, agreements, or IT governance frameworks
Experience using government reporting tools and repositories
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
CLEARANCE LEVEL
SECRET Clearance. The ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance is required before a start date can be issued.
EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
CERTIFICATION
PMP, CAPM, ITIL, or Lean Six Sigma preferred.
