Position Summary:
Serves as a business function expert on one or more teams, representing the operational interests of one or more business units. Identifies various business aspects of projects that may need modification during changes in the project’s design and development. Provides guidance/training to other team members/business partners to improve performance. Develops and analyzes data models and reports and prepares recommendations for management review. Conducts application/technology demonstrations and briefings to various groups and levels of management. Provides expert advice, guidance and counsel to team members/business partners. Leads activities related to conducting complex analysis, evaluating alternatives and making recommendations for innovative and effective business solutions. May lead a team of individuals to complete specific project tasks.
Develops project/business objectives, requirements and cost benefits as projects/business plans are initiated. Updates status of project/business solution to management over the course of the project. Develops, reviews, revises, and updates documentation pertaining to project/business activities (e.g., specification documents, on-line help, testing of processes/product lines, procedures, etc.). Coordinates, develops and defines test strategy/approach for department/project (e.g., unit, system, acceptance testing). Provides expertise and makes recommendations regarding changes/enhancements to applications/technology across multiple business areas. May act as a liaison between assigned department/project and internal and external contacts.

Required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Project coordination and/or leadership experience
Business planning and consulting
Researching, analyzing, identifying and resolving moderately complex to complex business problems
Participation on project teams
Developing data models using spreadsheet applications
Analyzing data models/reports and preparing recommendations form management review
Providing guidance to less experienced staff/team members
Preparing written proposals/reports
Knowledge and Skills:
PC software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access ,Visio, MS Project)
Project management tools (GANTT, Pert charts, Project Professional, MS Project, etc.)
Planning, organizing and decision making
Analysis, compilation and interpretation of data
Preparation and presentation of materials
Achieving stated objectives within designated timeframe
Explore alternative approaches to existing processes and project objectives
Perform a variety of concurrent activities
Work with others in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills to include report generation and presentation of major reports
Preferred
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Operations Research, Information Technology or related field
PMP Designation
Related professional or technology certification/designation
Experience:
Experience with Sabre and/or other travel technology systems
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of Salesforce and Axis
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid work arrangement (time spent in office and remote). Depending on the employee's role and leadership's assessment, some employees will come in to an ACG facility on a weekly basis, a monthly basis, or on an "as needed" basis for key meetings and collaborative activities. Most employees will be required to come into the office, at a minimum, for important departmental meetings or team building events

Compensation
Business Consultant will earn a competitive salary of $68,000 - $75,000 annually with annual bonus potential based on performance.

Time Off & Leave
Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrual-based, increases with tenure, eligible at 90 days of employment
Full-time new employees will receive up to 12 PTO days annually; accrual based on start date and may include additional PTO based on role and/or state & local requirements
Part-time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and will accrue at a minimum of 3 hours per month
Paid Holidays:
Full-time employees are eligible for 10 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day, 2 floating holidays and 1 volunteer day. Holidays vary by business unit schedules
Part-time employees are eligible for 8 company-paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays. Holidays vary by business unit schedules
