What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver product to customer job sites on schedule
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Load, transport, and discharge concrete while ensuring product quality and proper slump consistency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers to coordinate deliveries
- Adhere to all safety, DOT, and company policies while promoting a culture of safety at all times
What Are We Looking For
- Valid CDL
- Demonstrated ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations
- Strong situational awareness and commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize deliveries, and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Capability to perform physical tasks associated with loading, unloading, and equipment inspection
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
