The work-study program at Process IPR is structured around two complementary areas: Working on a specific technical project Gaining an understanding of the role of a process technician With the guidance of your mentor, you will work on a key process: thermal annealing, used to improve the surface quality of SOI wafers. This process, which is particularly sensitive to temperature fluctuations, requires precise control of the heating and cooling phases to ensure uniform heating. Any deviation can impact product quality by generating stress in the wafer and causing crystalline defects.
