The Associate Director, Omnichannel Marketing & Media will play a critical leadership role in shaping omnichannel strategy and designing data-driven engagement solutions within Alzheimer’s disease. This leader will define and optimize integrated customer strategies across consumers, primary care physicians, and key support partners, ensuring programs are insight-led, measurable, and aligned to business priorities.This role requires a strategic, analytically rigorous marketer with deep pharmaceutical experience and a strong track record of translating insights into scalable, customer-centric solutions. The ideal candidate brings experience leading/implementing strategy across consumer, primary care, and rare disease environments, with the ability to operate effectively across complex stakeholder groups in a fast-paced, matrixed organization. Experience in market access or diagnostics is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, activation, implementation and optimization of omnichannel marketing strategies across owned, paid, and earned channels, with a focus on consumers and health care providers
Design and implement integrated media campaigns leveraging digital, CRM, and web and field platforms to drive engagement across the customer journey and achieve business outcomes
Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Field, Insights & Analytics, IT, Legal, Regulatory, Medical, and external agencies to ensure seamless execution and alignment to business objectives.
Translate advanced analytics, segmentation, and behavioral insights into targeted, personalized engagement strategies.
Establish test and learn methodologies, identifying and testing hypotheses in channels to establish proof of concept
Own and optimize CRM and web solutions to support scalable, customer-centric engagement at key moments of influence.
Drive continuous optimization through performance measurement, testing, and learning, with a strong bias toward action and delivery.
Champion data-driven decision-making, ensuring campaigns are grounded in customer needs, behaviors, and preferences.
Knowledgeable and experienced with key solutions including retargeting, next best action, field suggestions, LLM, machine-learning,
Manage agency partners and external vendors to ensure excellence in strategy, execution, and operational rigor.
Contribute to enterprise-wide omnichannel capability-building, sharing best practices and elevating standards across teams.
Operate effectively within a matrixed environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining strong accountability for outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8+ years of pharmaceutical or life sciences marketing experience, with demonstrated success in omnichannel strategy, data-driven solution design, and media activation.
Proven expertise in omnichannel campaign development, media strategy, CRM platforms, and web-based engagement solutions.
Strong understanding of customer journeys, behavioral segmentation, and data-driven personalization approaches.
Experience working with analytics teams and translating insights into measurable marketing impact.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly collaborative, and matrixed environments with both internal and external partners.
Experience across consumer, primary care, and rare disease marketing is strongly preferred, with demonstrated success navigating complex therapeutic areas and customer ecosystems.
Experience with market access and/or diagnostics is a plus.
Agency management experience and direct collaboration with analytics partners strongly preferred.
Strategic mindset with a strong track record of execution excellence and results delivery.
Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and outcomes-focused, with a passion for continuous improvement.
This position is hybrid in Nutley, NJ and requires working in office weekly (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
Eisai Salary Transparency Language:
The annual base salary range for the Associate Director, Omnichannel Marketing & Media – Alzheimer’s Disease is from :$189,000-$248,000Under current guidelines, this position is eligible to participate in : Eisai Inc. Annual Incentive Plan & Eisai Inc. Long Term Incentive Plan.Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, and skills.
