We are inviting you to a full-time, 6-month long Internship program to join our Global Master Data Management (MDM) Team, whose primary focus is to ensure the organisation's data assets are effectively managed, governed, and utilised to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Our Data team is looking for a Process Automation and Micro-Efficiency Intern who looks at repetitive, manual routines and instinctively thinks, 'There must be a faster way to script this.' Rather than working on distant, theoretical development projects, you will dive straight into the heart of our operations. You will identify daily operations’ bottlenecks such as complex SAP data merges or repetitive reporting and transform them into agile micro-automations using custom scripts, advanced data logic, tools like Celonis, and AI. This is your chance to see your code instantly change how a global team operates.
What you will be responsible for:
Identify and Map Efficiency Ideas: Actively interview and shadow our teams to uncover hidden bottlenecks, gather automation ideas, and collaborate with the direct manager to build and prioritize an "Optimization Pipeline"
Eliminate Manual Work (Excel to Scripting): Take ownership of manual, time-consuming tasks (like multi-table data merging or manual tracking) and replace them with automated data extractions or custom scripts
Build Agile Enhancements: Develop and deploy rapid, small-scale enhancements to make our global operations quicker, showcasing immediate business value
Apply Advanced Tools: Utilize relational database logic, SQL queries, and the Celonis Process Mining platform to monitor data behavior and trigger automated efficiency checks
Document and Standardize: Ensure that every script, micro-automation, or workflow optimization you create is cleanly documented so the permanent team can run them seamlessly
About you:
Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, or a highly technical/engineering field
Data & Coding Fundamentals: Foundational understanding of SQL (writing queries, handling multi-table JOINs) or a strong grasp of an equivalent scripting language (such as Python or R) used for data manipulation would be an advantage
The "Optimization" Mindset: A strong technical curiosity and passion for troubleshooting, logic puzzles, and simplifying complex, manual workflows
Soft Skills: Excellent collaborative skills, proactive communication, and the confidence to ask questions and interview team members about their daily routines
Excellent communication skills in English and Lithuanian
