Part Time, Hourly | $13.00-$17.00

What is needed for this job as our Program Instructor:
Minimum 16 years of age
Experience participating in or instructing the applicable program area
Ability to safely lead participants in age-appropriate instruction and activities
Ability to maintain focus and supervise participants throughout program sessions
Current certifications required for the assigned program, or ability to obtain before instructing, if applicable
The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Program Instructor:
Deliver YMCA instructional programs in accordance with established curriculum and quality standards
Teach and evaluate participant skill progression while encouraging confidence and personal growth
Foster an inclusive, safe, and positive learning environment
Reinforce the YMCA's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility through instruction
Monitor participant safety and behavior throughout all activities
Communicate participant progress and program updates with families as appropriate
Maintain attendance records and complete required program documentation
Ensure program spaces are clean, organized, and ready for the next activity
Participate in required staff meetings and trainings
