Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented MEP Supervisor to join our team! In this role you will get to oversee the operations of MEP systems and take leadership on their maintenance along with your team on a mixed-use masterplan development.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage the daily operation of ammonia chillers and refrigeration systems, monitoring performance to ensure maximum stability and efficiency.
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, and coordinate major overhauls, pump replacements, and pipeline repairs.
- Drive technical standards and engineering processes for refrigeration systems; leverage expertise to influence technology decisions and strategies.
- Ensure all maintenance aligns with manufacturer recommendations, company policies, and engineering codes.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and FM protocols; identify and
mitigate site hazards immediately. - Review daily/weekly/monthly contractor logs and consolidate them into
monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management review. - Manage contractor personnel effectively while maintaining positive
relationships with all internal and external stakeholders. - Support management in setting FM guidelines and monitoring ongoing
compliance with service and cost standards.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a
specialization in HVAC or Ammonia Refrigeration Systems. - Minimum 8 years of experience including expertise in Ammoinia Refrigeration Systems, HVAC Systems, and maintenance experience within the UAE.
- Solid working knowledge of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) and
Risk Management Plan (RMP) compliance guidelines. - Proven ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex technical drawings,
P&IDs, and engineering documentation. - Strong technical report-writing and professional communication skills.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Certified training in IIAR standards (specifically ANSI/IIAR 6 & 7).
- Completed HAZMAT and/or industrial emergency response training.
- Proficiency in Written and Spoken English is mandatory; Proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage.
