3rd Party Security Expert

As part of the broad process of digitalisation of its activities, AXA Belgium deals with an ever-increasing volume of data and offers increasingly comprehensive digital services to its customers and partners

Given the diverse range of third-party vendors and service providers involved, effective management and control of third-party risks are crucial to maintaining our security standards

In this context, we are looking for a 3rd Party Security Expert Your role: Accountable for driving efforts to systematically maintain and increase, maturity and effectiveness of 3rd party security governance processes and controls in AXA Belgium

Evaluate the security measures of existing and prospective third-party vendors through comprehensive risk assessments and due diligence processes

Engages, collaborates, and aligns closely with relevant functions across AXA Belgium organization, including DPO, Legal, Business & IT, Risk, and Procurement teams

Coordinates and supports security dimension in Outsourcing Oversight and Vendor Risk Management processes (incl. security assessments & security in contracts)

Maintain accurate documentation of third-party security assessments, risks, and mitigation actions; report findings to senior management

Ensures assurance & evidences for the formal security control objectives in this area, and contributes accordingly to overall AXA Belgium security assessments (ISO27K, regulatory, and Group Security)

Produces clear management-level presentations giving comprehensible view on current AXA Belgium’s security posture/risks related to 3rd party security, and ongoing improvement initiatives

Can work autonomously and proactively, involving CSO and SecurityOffice colleagues, and strongly contributing to one overall Security Team voice in the organization, in partnership with Business & IT

- External Ideally, you have a Master's degree in IT / Security or relevant experience You have at least four years' experience in the field of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) You have a good capacity to manage several projects at the same time, and you have a strategic vision of security-related aspects

You work independently and can perform several tasks at the same time

You are detail-oriented and have a strong work ethic

You are a problem solver and have excellent analytical skills

Knowledge of ISO 27001 is an added advantage

You are fluent in English and one of the two national languages (French/Dutch)
