Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with a strong technical background and a passion for innovative design. This role will contribute to a variety of exciting and challenging projects, from initial concept to final implementation.ResponsibilitiesDevelop innovative and practical mechanical designs and solutions for a wide range of projects and industries.Create detailed 2D and 3D models, fabrication drawings, and technical documentation using CAD software.Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other engineers to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.Ensure all designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from conceptual design and feasibility studies to prototyping, testing, and final production.Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project execution.Contribute to our culture of continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
QualificationsFor Mechanical Designer: Associate's degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in mechanical design or drafting.Proven experience in a mechanical design or engineering role.Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.).Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. We do not sponsor employment visas not or in the future.Preferred QualificationsExperience in one or more of the industries we serve: Energy, Industrial, and/or Manufacturing. Other industries such as Aviation, Food and Beverage, Military, or Healthcare are a plus.Experience with project management and consulting.Knowledge of industry-specific codes and standards.
