JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Supervisor, Patient Accounts supervises the daily operations of the Patient Account Representatives who primarily bill for hospital services. The supervisor will assist in the development and implementation of Olympic Memorial Hospital’s, Olympic Medical Cancer Center’s, and Olympic Medical Physicians’ billing policies and with new processes and procedures designed to improve billing services and the efficiency of operations. This role promotes cooperation and teamwork within the department as well as ancillary departments.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Three years’ experience in medical billing, collections, or related field required
and
- Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field required
or
- Five years’ total equivalent associated work experience and training required
- One year of supervisory experience preferred
LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS
- Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) preferred.
