Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Marketing Manger for overseeing the decision-making process for new products, including conceptualization, prioritization, and successful market launches. Ensuring the review and implementation of pre-launch strategies and brand plans, while fostering strong relationships with key customers. Leading strategic initiatives and providing guidance to subordinates for effective product planning and execution, within the constraints of regulatory frameworks and market capabilities, to achieve continuous growth in market share and product portfolio expansion annually.

Roles & Responsibilities
• You will be responsible for identifying gaps in the product portfolio, analysing international trends, and proposing new product ideas based on unmet needs. Deliberating with the cross-functional team regarding the profitability of new products, and making final decisions on new product ideas from a marketing perspective.
• You will be responsible for conducting risk versus benefit analysis, discussing the merits and demerits of new product ideas with the medico-marketing team, and finalizing the prioritization of new products in consultation with the vertical head to ensure the implementation and launch of the most promising products.
• You will be responsible for reviewing go-to-market strategies, validating launch plans, and overseeing the successful implementation of strategies, as well as ensuring the effective launch of new products.
• You will be responsible for sales planning & budgeting of existing products by setting growth goals for subordinate marketing teams, deciding overall targets for the therapeutic area, and monitoring market potential to ensure consistent growth in market share.
• You will be responsible for Brand Strategy formulating of existing products by implementing brand strategies, monitoring their execution, identifying gaps, and suggesting corrective actions to strengthen brand positioning and market presence.
• You will be responsible for making decisions on initiatives to maintain customer relationships, reviewing non-product-based programs, and refining strategies based on customer feedback, especially from Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• You will be responsible for initiating strategic activities to enhance brand presence, designing the future roadmap, and implementing initiatives through agencies after thorough evaluation and regular interaction with the strategy team.
• You will be responsible for leading and developing a team by conducting goal setting, performance appraisals, and providing mentorship, training, and development opportunities to ensure a high-performing and cohesive team environment.

Education Qualification: MBA along with a graduate degree in Science stream

Minimum work experience: 10+ years of experience in Indian Pharmaceutical Industry and experience in Product Management, launching at least one new product.
