Job Description
Materials Handler
Overall Goal of Position:
Be an integral part of keeping our products moving and making sure customers receive the right products on time.
2nd Shift (5:00 pm – 3:30 am Monday – Thursday)
$18.25 - $19.75 + $1.75 Shift Differential Starting Pay
Job Summary
Position pulls orders using computer generated picking documents and the timely and accurate loading of product on trailers. The position also pulls raw materials for production and stocks the production areas to ensure uninterrupted production. The position also stocks daily production into the warehouse keeping track of locations using put away sheets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operate forklift or other hand truck
Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
Perform cycle counts as required
Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped
Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
Identify safety hazards in the workplace
Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods
What We Are Looking For: Characteristics, skills, experience, education and performance history needed for success in the position:
Must be able to pass fork-lifting certificate.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Proficiency operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
Mathematical aptitude.
Good organizational skills.
Attention to detail.

Education & Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Manufacturing Experience a plus
Other:
Frequently is required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach and grasp with hands and arms.
Regularly lift and or move up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
