Job Description
The Cutover Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire cutover process during the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. This role requires a solid understanding of cutover methodologies, strong project management capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all required data, configurations, and technical prerequisites are in place for the cutover.
- Conduct cutover rehearsals to validate readiness and proactively identify issues or risks.
- Communicate cutover plans, timelines, and status updates to key stakeholders and project team members.
- Manage all cutover activities during the go-live phase, including data migration, system transitions, issue resolution, and post-go-live support.
- Identify, propose, and implement measures to reduce downtime and ensure a stable transition.
- Structured and documentation-oriented working style.
Education
- Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or equivalent (master’s degree/diploma preferred), or comparable professional experience.
Experience and Knowledge
- At least two years of experience in Project Management.
- Experience with data migration and system cutovers.
- Knowledge of change management principles and best practices.
- Interest in digital innovation, automation, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, Power BI, Azure DevOps).
- Basic understanding or willingness to learn automation and AI-driven tools is a plus.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Language
- English required; German is a plus.
