Civmec is proud to continue our strong partnership with PLS. After successfully delivering major works at the Pilgangoora Operation, we’re now pleased to be awarded the scope to construct a custom dome over the lithium storage facilities. We have immediate-start opportunities for Crane Operators on a 2:1 roster running both Day and Night Shift, working as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team delivering a major construction project in the Pilbara, WA. 

The Role

  • Perform lifting operations safely and efficiently in line with Civmec procedures and engineered lift plans.

  • Operate 90T–100T rough‑terrain slew cranes to support dome construction involving precise placement of steel components.

  • Work within a multi‑crane environment including 3 × 90T slew cranes, a 275T slew crane, and a Franna.

  • Execute complex and high‑risk lifts, ensuring correct setup, rigging checks, and stable crane operation.

  • Maintain strong safety performance and productivity on large‑scale construction projects.

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • CO Operators with demonstrated experience 
  • Crawler crane experience
  • Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
  • High Risk Work licence, EWP over 11m
  • Working at Heights (Valid within 2 years)
  • Prior experience working on construction project sites
  • Crane VOC (desirable) 
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
