JOB TITLE: Department Support Coordinator

DEPT: Employee Health

LOCATION: Maury Regional Medical Center - Columbia, TN

SHIFT: Full-time, 8:00am-4:30pm

JOB SUMMARY:

The Department Support Coordinator provides high-level administrative, operational, and compliance support to ensure efficient functioning of the Employee Health, Occupational Health, and related clinic services. This role serves as a central communication and coordination hub between leadership, clinical staff, Human Resources, Risk Management, Infection Prevention, Workers’ Compensation, and external vendors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Experience in healthcare, occupational health, human resources, or clinical office setting Preferred

· Associate degree Required

· 2 Years of Related Administrative/Secretarial Support in Healthcare Environment Required 

Knowledge & Skills:


• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
• Familiarity with OSHA reporting preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional demeanor and discretion.

Physical & Work Environment:

• Primarily office-based in healthcare setting.
• May require occasional clinic support.
• Frequent computer use.
• Interaction with employees regarding medical documentation.
