Job Description:
Provides enterprise-level architecture leadership for Allina’s data and analytics platforms. Designs, secures, and enables modern analytics infrastructure across Azure and serves as a technical authority for analytics platforms, AI enablement, and DevOps integration while ensuring performance, governance, and security standards are met.
Principle Responsibilities
- Data & Analytics Platform Architecture
- Architects, administers, and secures Azure Databricks environments.
- Designs, monitors, and audits Azure Data Factory pipelines and integrations.
- Serves as design authority and enablement lead for Microsoft Fabric.
- Ensures analytics platforms meet performance, governance, and security requirements.
- AI & Advanced Analytics Enablement
- Designs and evaluates Azure Databricks AI agents and advanced analytics capabilities.
- Leads experimental proofs of concept and incremental enhancements as AI features mature.
- Ensures AI capabilities are deployed responsibly, securely, and at scale.
- DevOps & Engineering Integration
- Utilizes Azure DevOps to support infrastructure deployment, automation, and lifecycle management.
- Aligns analytics infrastructure and practices with DevSecOps principles.
- Architecture Leadership & Escalation
- Serves as senior on-call escalation point for high-impact incidents.
- Resolves complex cross-platform issues beyond documented procedures.
- Defines future-state technical architectures and modernization strategies.
- Enables infrastructure administrators and analytics engineers through tooling, automation, and architectural guidance.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
- 8+ years IT Infrastructure Engineering or Architecture experience
- 8+ years IT Security Engineering or Architecture experience
- 5+ years experience in SQL and Python
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
- 3+ years experience with Azure Cloud Platform

Pay Range
Pay Range: $63.54 to $87.91 per hourThe pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience and education. Additional incentives may be available, including discretionary monetary bonuses, goal-based bonuses, and other financial incentives.Benefit Summary
