The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and where better to experience that than in the food and beverage outlets! With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for an energetic and positive person to support the bar staff by maintaining a clean, neat and well stocked bar area.

 

 

Job Type: Full Time

Pay $15.00 per hour

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age
Reports to: Beverage Manager/ Asst Director of F&B

As bar back, you will be a vital member of the bar staff, ensuring that the bar is well stocked, so that the bartenders can provide a seamless service and the guests can experience the fun and escapism they come here to enjoy!

 

Responsibilities include:

• Keep the bar stocked with liquor, syrups, glasses, napkins etc before and during service hours.
• Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs and restock bar items.
• Keep the bar area neat and clean
• Coordinate with managers, kitchen staff and security personal to ensure efficient service to customers.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat
• May be required to drive large pick-up truck with a lift.
• Ensure all details are followed according to supervisor's instructions while providing guests with the finest quality of service at all times in a warm and friendly manner. 
• Notify supervisor of any broken or damaged equipment.

• Must have a neat appearance and be quick, energetic and be able to work at a fast pace.
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests and associates.

• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.

• Ability to manage time well with minimal supervision.
• Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
• Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses with complete, clean uniform professionally at all times.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

 

           

Physical Requirements

• Minimum lifting/pulling of 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity, continuous standing.
• Hearing and writing ability.
• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time – up to 8 hours.
