Now hiring Service Technicians in Indianapolis, IN!
We are seeking a Service Technician with a “Whatever It Takes” approach to join our maintenance team! In this full-time role, you will help ensure the physical aspects of our 126-unit apartment community meet company standards, resident expectations, and applicable compliance requirements.
As the Service Technician, you will help to:
Troubleshoot and complete service requests including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
Perform preventative maintenance and support day-to-day property upkeep
Complete make-readies and assist in maintaining curb appeal and community appearance
Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance service requests and resident concerns
Communicate clearly with residents, office staff, and maintenance leadership regarding repairs and updates
Utilize technology to manage work orders, maintenance requests, and daily responsibilities efficiently
We are looking for a well-rounded maintenance professional with strong hands-on troubleshooting skills across multiple maintenance disciplines.
EPA certification is required, and HVAC/EPA/CFC certifications are highly preferred.
Compensation & Incentives
Base Pay: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
Up to 50% Rent Discount
Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 8AM- 4:30 PM
Paid rotating on-call participation required (every other week, Monday through Sunday)
Must be available and prepared for emergency events as needed

What We’ll Expect From You:
Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle
EPA Certification required
Computer and smartphone proficiency for work order management
Ability to occasionally support nearby communities as business needs require
One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
