Hourly Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hour depending on RBT Competency Exam/Experience
Reports to: Clinical and Regional Directors / Training Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking a confident, experienced Registered Behavior Technician with atleast 1 year of clinical RBT experience to serve as the Centralized Clinical Trainer for new hires in our center-based ABA clinic. This role is critical to onboarding behavior technicians and RBTs each week, ensuring they are well-equipped, aligned with our core values, and prepared to deliver exceptional care.

Experienced candidates will be given an RBT Competency Exam to determine starting pay rate based on their experience before being hired. All RBTs will have their competency levels re-assessed every 6 months. There are 6 levels of RBT competency, each one comes with additional responsibilities/growth and pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate weekly onboarding and hands-on training sessions for all new BTs and RBTs.
  • Model best practices in trauma-informed, child-led ABA therapy.
  • Deliver instruction on reinforcement procedures, behavior intervention plan (BIP) implementation, and data collection.
  • Observe and assess new hires’ performance, providing structured feedback and support.
  • Maintain training materials, checklists, and documentation of onboarding outcomes.
  • Coordinate with BCBAs, HR, and leadership on trainee progress and readiness for clinical assignment.
  • Support company values and ensure new hires adopt a high standard of ethics and professionalism.
  • Facilitate monthly training with site level training teams based on feedback nd requests received from leadership team
  • Work collaboratively with our team and be able to grow with feedback.
  • Daily attendance is critical as we onboard new hires and have weekly training classes Monday-Friday each week.

Required Qualifications

  • Current RBT certification in good standing.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a center-based setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with trauma-informed and child-led ABA practices.
  • Proven ability to train, mentor, or supervise peers or junior staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Comfort with using technology and ABA data platforms (Central Reach).
  • Advanced knowledge of ABA principles and practical application in a center-based setting.
  • Expertise in pairing, reinforcement strategies, and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Ability to generalize clinical knowledge across a variety of client profiles
  • Ability to model and train on various engagement strategies.
  • Skilled in teaching and modeling ABA concepts to adult learners at different experience levels.
  • Clear, confident verbal communicator and approachable coaching style.
  • Ability to provide supportive feedback that fosters learning and confidence.
  • Open and frequent communication with leadership at site level to ensure trainee updates are provided as necessary

Leadership, Professionalism, & Adaptability

  • Embodies professionalism and is a culture ambassador.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to lead by example and earn respect from peers.
  • Organized, punctual, and able to independently manage onboarding cycles.
  • Ability to create or adapt training materials, manuals, and schedules.
  • Comfortable adjusting training style based on trainee needs and learning preferences.
  • Proactively identifies and addresses gaps in trainee readiness.
  • Uses feedback from BCBAs and leadership to continuously improve the training process.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing training content or onboarding checklists.
  • Background in early childhood education or developmental psychology.
  • Previous experience as an RBT trainer
