
Assistant Coach, Fall Dance Team
Job Description
Season Dates: August 17, 2026 - October 15, 2026
Duties: Work collaboratively to assist the varsity coach with all aspects of the Spring Lake Park Fall Dance Team including but not limited to setting up practices, competitions, and schedules for the program; supervision of athletes at practices and competitions; arranging team transportation; working with booster club and regular meetings with other coaches to evaluate goals of the overall program. Must be able to adjust work schedule for practices and games.
Preferences: A BA/BS Degree and MN Teacher License with coaching certificate OR equivalent and previous experience working with high school age students. Previous experience as a high school and/or studio dancer and/or coach.
Qualifications: A strong background in high school and/or studio dance as a participant and/or coach is required. Strong work ethic and dedication to furthering the benefits of participation in co-curricular activities. Leadership skills including but not limited to organization, vision, motivation, and conflict resolution. Ability to work with student athletes, parents, staff, and community.
