Job Summary

Role Overview

As a Professional Services Staff Consultant, you will act as a lead technical authority for our most strategic Cortex XSIAM engagements. You will bridge the gap between high-level security requirements and technical implementation, defining the end-to-end SoC architecture and technical delivery plans for global customers. You are responsible for ensuring implementation quality while acting as a mentor and multiplier for the broader Professional Services team.

Key Responsibilities

  • SoC Architecture & Design: Develop detailed, low-level design and configuration plans that translate customer security requirements into an effective, deployable XSIAM solution.
  • Technical Leadership: Define the technical project plan, including delivery methodologies and milestones. Oversee the work of other consultants, providing QA and technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • XSIAM Implementation: Lead the end-to-end deployment of Cortex XSIAM, including data source onboarding, correlation rule creation, and advanced detection engineering.
  • SOC Transformation: Guide customers through the transition from legacy SIEM/SOAR models to an "AI-first" SOC, focusing on automation and accelerated value realization.
  • Automation & Playbooks: Design and validate complex automation workflows and playbooks to streamline incident response and improve MTTR.
  • Customer Advisory: Engage with C-level stakeholders and technical leads to align XSIAM capabilities with unique business outcomes and network architectures.

Qualifications

Key Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • Cortex XSIAM: Deep hands-on experience with XSIAM architecture, including ingestion, correlation, and the native capabilities of the Cortex Cloud.
  • SoC Architecture: Proven track record of designing modern Security Operations Centers (from Assessment to Transformation) with expertise in SIEM, SOAR, and XDR technologies.
  • Detection Engineering: Ability to build sophisticated correlation rules and detection logic across diverse data sets (Cloud, Network, Endpoint).
  • Automation: Advanced proficiency in automation workflows, specifically migrating or optimizing XSOAR playbooks for XSIAM environments.

Capabilities (Success Profile Alignment)

  • Designing Security Solutions: Expert at developing high-quality architectural standards that protect critical assets while ensuring scalability.
  • Adapting & Innovating: Proven ability to use new technologies (e.g., GenAI) in real-time to overcome unexpected environment challenges.
  • Trusted Advisor: Strong strategic positioning and communication skills; able to lead complex discussions and drive customer confidence.

Example Outcomes

  • Successful cutover from legacy SIEM (e.g., Splunk) to Cortex XSIAM within defined milestones.
  • Scaling endpoint and data source deployment from pilot to global production (e.g., 100k+ endpoints).
  • De-escalation of complex technical blockers through strategic reclassification and architectural pivots.

Our Commitment

We’re trailblazers that dream big, take risks, and challenge cybersecurity’s status quo. It’s simple: we can’t accomplish our mission without diverse teams innovating, together.
