To follow up chiller operation, hot water boilers operation, MVSG, Desalination plants, STP plants and to report any abnormalities to the engineering managers.
To execute the required preventive maintenance of all equipment.
What you will do
1. Inspect air-conditioning units to ensure efficient operation.
2. Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units.
3. Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions; install, replace or repair damaged equipment; calibrate thermostatic controls.
4. Inspect and observe pressure of liquids and vapor with instrumentation to ensure efficient operation of units and make necessary adjustments; inspect and service refrigeration equipment including refrigerators and ice machines.
5. Maintain the chilled and hot water supply systems.
6. Maintain records and write reports.
7. The ability to assist in providing preventive maintenance of all electrical/mechanical/plumbing equipment and updating of appropriate logs.
8. The ability to clean all stations in Engineering and maintain a neat and organized department.
9. The ability to assist Shift engineers on major shut downs for repairs.
10. The ability to maintain logs for all work performed while on duty within department and those in other departments as they apply to Engineering Repairs.
11. The ability to take meter readings, record temperatures, record into PM charts/logs, and pressures in heating and cooling plant.
12. The ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed.
What you bring
A minimum of five years of technical experience or equivalent in a recognized trade with understanding of the building maintenance and operation.
The ability to work independently and productively
The ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments
The ability to learn various technical systems. A willingness to learn and advance themselves within the engineering department.
