As we continue to grow in both revenue and employees, we are seeking a commercially minded and values-driven HR Director to lead our people agenda for the dynamic APAC region.
This is a key leadership role where you will partner with senior business leaders to shape our future, ensuring a strong alignment between our business strategy, our unique culture, and our HR execution. Based at our regional headquarters in Singapore, you will lead a focused and skilled team of HR professionals around the APAC Head Region dedicated to making Axis a great place to work. You will also work in close collaboration with our great HR team around the world.
You will report to the VP APAC, with a dotted line to the Global Sales and Marketing Business Partner in Sweden. This is an international role where travel to countries within the APAC region is a natural and exciting part of the job.
What you'll do as our HR Director, APAC
As a member of the APAC Leadership Team, you will represent HR and translate our corporate strategy into impactful regional initiatives. You will balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational excellence. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the APAC Leadership Team to develop and execute a long-term HR plan that directly supports our business strategy.
- Organizational Development: Lead and shape organizational development initiatives, working with business leaders and Finance to improve efficiency and alignment with business goals.
- Leadership & Coaching: Act as a trusted advisor, challenging and coaching leaders to ensure we conduct business and manage our people in an ethical manner that reflects our core values.
- Talent & Performance: Drive consistent performance management, succession planning, and the development of our talent across the region.
- HR Excellence: Develop, implement, and follow up on HR processes, guidelines, and principles, while using HR data to identify and act on improvement areas.
- Recruitment & Compensation: Facilitate and support the recruitment of managers and drive the annual salary review process.
- Culture Champion: In all aspects of your work, act as a bearer and champion of our unique company culture.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced HR leader who combines a strong business sense with outstanding HR competence. You are passionate about building scalable practices that enable sustainable growth in a complex, international environment.
Your Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in a strategic HR Business Partner or HR Manager role within an international, high-growth environment.
- A university degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Deep operational experience across all core areas of HR: recruitment, learning & development, performance management, organizational development, culture, and compliance with local labor laws.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
