Boutique Retail Specialist
Job Description
Flexstaff is hiring a Temp to Perm Boutique Retail Specialist to join our client's team.
Location: Manhattan, NY (on-site)
Pay: $25.00 an hour
Schedule: Monday - Saturday 9:00a.m to 5:30p.m (must be flexible with schedule) Sundays off.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Boutique Sales and Inventory
- Assist customers during shopping experience, creating invoices, collecting payments and handling credits and returns.
- Order and manage merchandise for the boutique, including organizing item locations in parts and boutique areas.
- Design and maintain attractive product displays within the boutique.
- Maintain accurate inventory and sales records using Excel, including daily and weekly inventory counts.
- Manage client's branded apparel sales and inventory.
- Handle online sales and special orders efficiently.
2. Promotional Signs and Sales Ideas
- Create and update pricing signs and promotional materials in line with corporate identity (CI) guidelines.
- Conceive and promote additional strategies to boost sales within the boutique and across the building.
- Develop and implement sales strategies aimed at increasing revenue.
3. Marketing and Events
- Assist and coordinate the boutique’s Instagram channel, including creating new channels and/or integrating with main company's pages, ensuring alignment with brand strategies.
- Support dealership events by promoting the boutique to engage customers and drive sales.
- Assist in building partnerships with other brands to collaborate and attract new clientele.
- Support the execution of creative and marketing strategies to enhance brand presence.
Reports directly to MINI General Sales Manager
Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience in retail sales, marketing, or related fields preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and social media platforms, especially Instagram.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to contribute innovative sales and marketing ideas.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Available to work flexible hours and weekends.
