Utility Worker – Hiring Event (Start within 1-2 weeks of offer) Date: June 18, 2026 Location: PCA Akron – 708 Killian Rd, Akron, OH 44319 Pay: $19.60/hr + overtime + shift differential Schedule: 2nd and 3rd shift – occasional Saturdays   We are hiring 10 Utility Workers through a scheduled hiring event at our Akron facility. This is a small, invite-only event. Qualified candidates will be selected and scheduled for a specific interview time slot. Please ensure your contact information is accurate.   Basic Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be available to work both the second and third shift, including overtime and weekends as needed Must have a good attendance record Must be available to attend the hiring event on June 18, 2026 Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment Experience operating forklift or other types of heavy machinery Demonstrated longevity of at least eight months in previous employment Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance. Excellent communication skills. Thrive in a cross-functional team environment. Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines. Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously. What You’ll Do: Work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Support production and maintenance operations. Move materials and assist with general labor tasks. Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards. May be required to stack parts up to 50 lbs for a period of up to 12 hours. Other duties as assigned.
