Test Engineer, Principal

Senior Test and Production Software Engineer Roles and Responsibilities: Develop and/or continue development of native GUI and browser based software tools used in the production of semiconductor lasers and devices. Develop software for automating electrical and optical testing in custom test systems. Create easy-to-use and flexible software to analyze large database resident data sets and to generate summary reports. Collaborate with development engineers to mine data from Excel spreadsheets into SQL databases and generate reports and/or spreadsheets. Rewrite engineering tools developed in Excel VBA or LabView in C#/.Net or other web based tool chain. Perform other duties as assigned. Travel may be required.
