Eaton’s Electrical GEIS (Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions) division is currently seeking a Product Line Manager - Lighting to join our team. This is a hybrid position, with approximately 25% travel and can be based at our Syracuse, NY or Houston, TX sites.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
As a Product Line Manager, you will support the growth and profitability of the North American lighting portfolio for harsh, hazardous, and industrial applications. You will work across a global organization and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, and Sales.
In this role, you will:
- Use analytics driven by digital, customer, and market data to draw conclusions and develop action plans.
- Coordinate the product development process to ensure timely product introduction and market acceptance.
- Recommend and implement changes to current products and pricing to maintain and increase sales and profitability in alignment with corporate goals and policies.
- Align customer needs with operations capabilities through rigorous demand planning and SIOP processes.
- Develop product pricing strategies to achieve optimum volume and market position.
- Prepare pricing and proposals for special products within assigned product families, as requested by the special products, pricing, and proposals administrator.
- Resolve product inconsistencies related to manufacturing and engineering inquiries, supplier changes, and customer complaints.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering, project management, marketing, or field sales involving technical products.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business discipline
- MBA
- Experience in the electrical or industrial products industry; HAZLOC experience is a plus.
- Experience with lighting or LED technologies.
