By day, DB55 is a buzzing co-working space for approximately 80 people across seven companies – architects, designers, sustainability pioneers, food innovators, and more. By night (and weekends), the space transforms: pop-up restaurants, product launches, workshops, exhibitions. You name it, we make it happen. And we need someone to help us do exactly that. Full time, for a period of 6 months, starting as of September.
Key Responsibilities
What you'll be doing
- Event planning & execution
Planning, organising, and executing various events. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the event planning industry. You will work closely with our Venue Manager and Community Manager to support all aspects of event logistics, from pre-event planning to on-site coordination and post-event follow-up - Hosting & floor work
During events, you will work alongside the event crew. This includes working behind the bar, opening and closing the venue, and guiding break-up or break-down works. - Social media content
During some events, we will need photos and videos to share on our social media channels.
Required skills & Experience
You'd be a great fit if…
- You're passionate about events and love being in the thick of it
- You communicate fluently in English (Dutch is a bonus, not a must)
- You have F&B experience – bar shifts, hospitality, that kind of thing
- You have a background in tourism, hospitality or event management
- You're proactive, creative, and bring ideas to the table (literally and figuratively)
- A flexible schedule doesn't scare you – evenings and weekends are part of the deal
