Job Description
We are actively hiring for the temporary position of Graphic Production Artist for our plant in Wallingford, CT.
Shift: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay range $20-$25
Duties & Responsibilities
- Photoshop manipulation – Advanced selections, background removal, layering work, and recoloring
- Create and edit all product images, combining the use of Photoshop and our backend tools
- Accurately enter product information using our existing backend systems as described by the rest of the merchandising team.
- Assist with making changes and updates to existing products’ colors, images, and placements as needed
- Procure and manage image assets from vendors and sources to offer the highest quality experience for our customers
- Work with the manager and the web development team to resolve product issues in the online designer
- Various tasks related to upkeep of products, including but not limited to misc. image manipulation and tasks
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Highly Proficient in Photoshop, both with advanced skills as well as accuracy and speed. 1-year minimum experience required.
- Specific Photoshop abilities required: Advanced selections via use of color, pixel edge recognition, etc.
- Must possess a strong attention to detail and be highly organized
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly, follow directions, and complete projects in a timely manner
- Candidates must work well on a team but also have the independence to work individually, multitask, and prioritize project work
- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Former retail experience and knowledge of e-commerce
- Signage industry and production
- Copy Shop and other fast-paced production-related industries
