Entry Level Operations Trainee

Entry level Lime plant position - Operations Trainee Rate $28.72

Reports to: Production Supervisor June 8, 2026

POSITION SUMMARY

Graymont’s Indian Creek Plant in Townsend, Montana plant is seeking an operations trainee expected to advance to the Tech I position. Successful candidates must possess a strong safety attitude, strong sense of teamwork and cooperation, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a self-directed work environment. This is a 24/7 operation and applicant will work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends.

 

Responsibilities:

•Perform all needed preshift examinations on all plant and mobile equipment.

•Load lime trucks & hydrate trucks

•Wash and clean assigned mobile equipment on a regular basis.

•Daily clean up and housekeeping

•Assist in kiln activities as assigned

•Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

•Safety oriented in every aspect of the job.

•Team player, proactive with strong multi-tasking skills.

•Mechanical aptitude with good trouble shooting skills

•Self-starter with ambition to improve overall plant atmosphere

•Ability to work in adverse weather conditions

•Able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
