At Clemens Food Group, you’ll take ownership of assigned Fresh Pork categories, shaping strategy, optimizing profitability, and partnering with leaders across the organization to maximize value from production through customer delivery. Essential Functions & Responsibilities
As a Business Unit Manager, you’ll own the financial performance and strategic direction of assigned product categories while partnering across the organization to optimize inventory, production, pricing, and customer satisfaction.
- Own the P&L performance and strategic direction for assigned product categories
- Develop pricing strategies and maximize category profitability
- Balance customer demand with production capacity and inventory availability
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Materials Management, Product Development, and Finance to make data-driven business decisions
- Evaluate new product opportunities and support commercialization initiatives
- Analyze market trends, USDA reports, and competitive intelligence to guide business strategy
- Develop inventory strategies that minimize waste while maximizing customer service
- Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning efforts
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve operational and financial performance
